When trying to open a file attachment you may receive a “NOT FOUND… The selected resource does not exist“.
The use of special characters (i.e. “#”, “+”. “!”) for a file name can potentially cause this problem (Assignment#1. doc, for example). The problem applies to files attached to presentations.
Resolution/Workaround: In order to avoid errors when downloading, please follow these guidelines:
- Use only letters, numbers and underscores (_) in file names.
- Don’t use spaces, commas, pound signs (#), question marks, equal signs, dashes or any other special characters in your file names.
- File names should be 60 characters or less in length.
