This summer the college media server “Breeze” received a major software & hardware upgrade. These upgrades were necessary to maintain a reliable and healthy server to support ongoing software updates and provide new features. This Fall faculty will be provided accounts on the new Connect server.
Steps Faculty Need to Take
Faculty will need to move their content from the old “Breeze” server to the new “Connect” server and update any referring links within their courses or webpages by Jan 4th, 2013.
The transition from the old Breeze Server will occur during this Fall Term 2012.
During Fall term the Tech Hub will offer support sessions to provide instructions and training for faculty on how to move their content and update links.
Below are the available help sessions faculty can attend for instructions and support on moving their content during Fall term.

What’s My Login?
Your username and password for the new Connect server will be the same that Chemekeketa faculty and staff use for logging into Outlook Web Access, Employee Dashboard or a computer connected to the campus network.

Access New Connect Server
Faculty will receive email notifications with information about their new Adobe Connect Server accounts.
Breeze Server Access Changes
Access to content on the old Breeze server will continue to be available Fall term. Faculty will not be able to add or change content on the old Breeze server. Any new content will be created on the new Connect server.
New content must be published to the https://connect.chemeketa.edu server.
Faculty Move Content
Faculty begin moving their content off the old server onto the new server & update links used in their courses or faculty webpages.
Breeze Server Access Ends
Access to the old Breeze server will end. All content on the old server will be archived and the server will be shut down.
