Here are three things that you can do right now to get involved with the movement to save students money on textbooks:
- Register for the Open Textbook Workshop at Clackamas Community College on November 6
- Join keynote speaker David Wiley at the Regional OER Conference at Mount Hood Community College on November 13. Watch for other conferences coming up in December in Southern Oregon and on the coast.
- Join the Open Oregon Google Group to stay informed, ask questions, and post answers. (Email Amy Hofer if you need to be directly added to the group.)
If you are already saving students money by using low-cost or no-cost course materials, please share! Take a minute to fill out the short form on the Open Oregon Resources Page.
